Meet Shardy: Burnley wedding photographer & videographer
Hello, I'm Shahid Hussain, known to most as Shardy, founder of SH Media Productions. I'm a wedding photographer and videographer based in Burnley, Lancashire, capturing English and Asian weddings across the North West, Manchester, Yorkshire and the UK.
A passion for photography and film
Photography and videography have always been more than a job to me. I'm constantly learning, experimenting and finding new ways to be creative. That might be a softer light for a portrait, a new angle for a first dance, or a better way to tell your story on film. That curiosity is what keeps every wedding I photograph feeling fresh, natural and personal.
Calm, organised and easy to work with
Wedding days move quickly, and plans don't always go to script. Years of working closely with people have given me strong customer service skills and a real understanding of what couples and their families need. I adapt to whatever the day brings and stay calm under pressure. That means you can relax, enjoy your celebration and trust that the moments that matter are being captured.
Whether it's an intimate Nikah, a lively Mehndi, a Walima or a traditional English wedding, I take time to understand your traditions, your family and the details that make your day yours.
Away from the camera
When I'm not photographing or filming, you'll usually find me hiking or in the gym. Getting outdoors keeps me inspired, and staying fit keeps me focused and full of energy for long wedding days that often run across several events.
